Creative Edge - Receive a laser etched granite portrait for the
1st next of kin of those killed in action as part of Operations
Enduring or Iraqi Freedom.
We are producing a granite memorial plaque, laser-etched with a picture of each warrior along with text selected by his or her family. With the family's permission, a duplicate plaque also will be produced and stored. Our goal is to create, at the end of this conflict and with the support of anyone who would like to participate in this endeavor, a memorial wall to be built here in Iowa, the heart of America. Contact Robert Sawyer at 800-394-8145 or roberts@cec-waterjet.com for more information. |
![]() Marine Comfort Quilts - We are military families joining together to bring comfort to families of all branches of our Military. Our focus is to make a Comfort Quilt for the 1st next of kin, for each family that lost a HERO in Iraq. "What is a Comfort Quilt?" It is a quilt made of 12.5 x 12.5- inch square blocks. Each square delivers a message of love and comfort to those families so they know that their hero is not forgotten. |
